CLT compartment fire (corner tests)
Source: experimental run 1
Structured collection of HRR curves from experimental studies and technical literature, statistically processed for performance-based Fire Safety Engineering analyses. Per scenario: median curve, 75th and 90th percentile, equivalent t2 fit, and max/min envelope.
HRR versus time curves for CFD, Fire Dynamics Simulator, design fires, t2 and multi-source scenarios.
Temperature versus time curves for normative structural checks. Not directly usable in FDS.
Disclaimer
This database provides engineering representations of fire curves derived from publicly available literature, experimental studies, or simplified fire modelling approaches.
The curves presented here are intended for educational and engineering reference purposes only and do not reproduce proprietary experimental datasets unless explicitly permitted.
Users remain responsible for verifying the suitability of any fire curve for their specific fire safety engineering analysis.
StudioFSE does not guarantee that these curves represent all possible fire conditions and assumes no liability for their application in real projects.
Where curves originate from published research, the original sources are cited.
Methodological note on growth classification
The growth class shown here represents an equivalent t² growth rate estimated from the initial portion of the HRR curve (typically using HRR ≤ ~30% of peak and early times up to ~40% of time to peak).
It provides a qualitative comparison with the standard t² fire growth classes (slow, medium, fast, ultra-fast), but the underlying curve is not necessarily a true t² fire.
